Zendesk → YouTrack Chrome Extension
Data Collection
This extension collects and processes the following data:
- Google account email: Used for authentication and domain verification. Only @pokerplanets.com accounts are accepted.
- Zendesk ticket data: Ticket subject, description, requester name/email are read from the active Zendesk page to pre-fill the YouTrack issue form.
- Zendesk agent email: Optionally entered by the user to enable reply notifications on assigned tickets.
Data Storage
Authentication tokens and user preferences are stored locally in Chrome storage. No personal data is stored on external servers.
Data Sharing
Ticket data is sent to our backend server (hosted on Google Cloud Run) solely to create YouTrack issues and check for new ticket notifications. No data is shared with third parties.
Permissions
- Alarms: Periodic polling for new tickets (every 60 seconds)
- Notifications: Desktop alerts for new tickets and replies
- Offscreen: Audio playback for notification sounds
- Scripting: Extract ticket data from Zendesk pages
